Space and the outdoors with a Doodle Puppy

Health and vet care in Koraput

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the long monsoon rather than during it. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Living with a Doodle Puppy in Koraput

With independent houses common, there is usually room for a medium-sized breed to exercise at home. Owners in eastern India tend to find this dog a friendly, intelligent, playful companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Is the Doodle Puppy right for Koraput?

Koraput is humid coastal — moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips — and the Doodle Puppy is a medium-sized, friendly, intelligent, playful breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Brush regularly — humidity makes mats and tangles form faster in longer coats.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with December nights around 10°C.

The rainy season runs from June to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Doodle puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October to March: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
