Health and vet care in Kujang

Preventive care in Kujang is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Living with a Pointer Puppy in Kujang

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Pointer Puppy. Owners in eastern India tend to find this dog a loyal, loving, confident companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Space and the outdoors with a Pointer Puppy

Homes around Kujang usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A breed this size needs that outdoor time to be dependable, not occasional.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Feeding a large dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a large frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, keep water available and watch intake through the long monsoon.

Kujang is hottest in April, averaging 39°C in the afternoon. A Pointer needs real protection from that because a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 14°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from June to October, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry inside the ears after baths and rain, since droopy ears trap moisture.

For a new Pointer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
