Feeding a large dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a large build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In cold mountain conditions water matters as much as food — crisp hill weather is comfortable for most dogs but harsh for short-coated ones in winter, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Health and vet care in Ravangla

Preventive care in Ravangla is largely a matter of anticipating the cold winter season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Provide a warm, draught-free sleeping spot and a coat for short-haired breeds in winter.

Grooming and coat care in Ravangla

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With crisp hill weather is comfortable for most dogs but harsh for short-coated ones in winter, a Pointer Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the cold winter season. On a larger coat, matting and trapped moisture are what to catch early. Check paws for cracking and ice between toes during the coldest months.

Start with the weather, not the breed standard. Here crisp hill weather is comfortable for most dogs but harsh for short-coated ones in winter, and a large-sized dog feels that more than an owner expects. The Pointer Puppy adapts well to Ravangla on a sensible routine — shorter outings, timed away from the midday heat. Check paws for cracking and ice between toes during the coldest months.

The city sits at about 2,022 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.

Summers here are mild, peaking at about 25°C in June, so heat is rarely the problem for a Pointer that it is on the plains.

Winter nights fall to about 2°C in January. A Pointer feels that: bedding raised off the floor, a sweater or warm cover at night, and a room kept out of the draught.

The rainy season runs from June to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk; dry inside the ears after baths and rain, since droopy ears trap moisture.

For a new Pointer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are May: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
