Exercise and routine through the extended rainy season in North Guwahati

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Maintain strict tick, flea and worm control, which peak in the wet season.

Living with a Budgies in North Guwahati

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a Budgies room to move and settle in comfortably. With more room to work with, the routine can stay informal, though it should still be regular.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the bird approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Feeding a medium bird here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In high-rainfall tropical conditions water matters as much as food — rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Space and the outdoors with a Budgies

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a family friendly, good with kids bird the fit is usually good either way.
