Feeding a small bird here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a small frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because summers are long and intense, so heat management is the single biggest priority, keep water available and watch intake through the dry summer months.

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With summers are long and intense, so heat management is the single biggest priority, a Dusky Lorikeet's coat and skin want checking more often through the dry summer months.
