Grooming and coat care in Baghbor

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Baghbor being monsoon-heavy, the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Space and the outdoors with a Corgi Puppy

Homes around Baghbor usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Feeding a small dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a small build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In monsoon-heavy conditions water matters as much as food — the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Living with a Corgi Puppy in Baghbor

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Corgi Puppy. Owners in the North-East tend to find this dog a smart, active, affectionate companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Summer here peaks in May at about 33°C. That is manageable for a Corgi: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 10°C. A light sweater helps a small Corgi on the coldest nights.

The rainy season runs from April to October, and June is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Corgi puppy, the easiest months to arrive are February, March, November and December: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
