Is the Kanni Puppy right for Lagru?

The Kanni Puppy does well in Lagru, with one caveat worth knowing up front: winters get genuinely cold, so warmth and joint care take priority. For a loyal, shy, alert, large-sized breed that mostly changes when things happen rather than what happens. Check paws for cracking and ice between toes during the coldest months.

Space and the outdoors with a Kanni Puppy

Homes around Lagru usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A breed this size needs that outdoor time to be dependable, not occasional.

Living with a Kanni Puppy in Lagru

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a Kanni Puppy room to move and settle in comfortably. Owners throughout the northern belt tend to find this dog a loyal, shy, alert companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Health and vet care in Lagru

Preventive care in Lagru is largely a matter of anticipating the cold winter season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Older pets may need joint support as cold can stiffen movement.

Grooming and coat care in Lagru

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With winters get genuinely cold, so warmth and joint care take priority, a Kanni Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the cold winter season. On a larger coat, matting and trapped moisture are what to catch early. Check paws for cracking and ice between toes during the coldest months.

The city sits at about 1,489 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.

Summer here peaks in May at about 32°C. That is manageable for a Kanni, but watch it closely because a large body sheds heat slowly: keep activity to the cooler ends of the day and a shaded, ventilated spot indoors.

Winter nights fall to about 1°C in January. A Kanni feels that: bedding raised off the floor, a sweater or warm cover at night, and a room kept out of the draught.

The rainy season runs from July to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Kanni puppy, the easiest months to arrive are April to May: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
