Health and vet care in Suruhuto

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the extended rainy season rather than during it. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

Living with a Kanni Puppy in Suruhuto

With independent houses common, there is usually room for a large-sized breed to exercise at home. Owners in the North-East tend to find this dog a loyal, shy, alert companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Is the Kanni Puppy right for Suruhuto?

Start with the weather, not the breed standard. Here near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention, and a large-sized dog feels that more than an owner expects. The Kanni Puppy adapts well to Suruhuto on a sensible routine — shorter outings, timed away from the midday heat. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Suruhuto being monsoon-heavy, near-constant moisture means skin, paw and bedding hygiene need real attention, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. The city sits at about 1,540 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.

Summers here are mild, peaking at about 26°C in June, so heat is rarely the problem for a Kanni that it is on the plains.

Winter nights fall to about 3°C in January. A Kanni feels that: bedding raised off the floor, a sweater or warm cover at night, and a room kept out of the draught.

The rainy season runs from May to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Kanni puppy, the easiest months to arrive are October: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
