Health and vet care in Tening

Preventive care in Tening is largely a matter of anticipating the extended rainy season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Space and the outdoors with a Boxer Puppy

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a family friendly, good with kids dog the fit is usually good either way.

Is the Boxer Puppy right for Tening?

Tening is monsoon-heavy — the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline — and the Boxer Puppy is a large-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size needs its hard exercise moved to the cooler hours. Maintain strict tick, flea and worm control, which peak in the wet season.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Exercise and routine through the extended rainy season in Tening

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Tening, the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, which makes timing the variable that matters. Two shorter outings work better here for a breed this size. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

The city sits at about 919 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.

Summers here are mild, peaking at about 29°C in May, so heat is rarely the problem for a Boxer that it is on the plains.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 7°C. A Boxer has a short, thin coat, so a light sweater helps on the coldest nights.

The rainy season runs from May to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Boxer puppy, the easiest months to arrive are March, October and November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
