Feeding a small dog here

Health and vet care in Mathili

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the long monsoon rather than during it. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Mathili

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. The air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, so keep sessions short and frequent. Grooming and coat care in Mathili

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the air stays humid through much of the year, so coat and skin care need attention, a German Spitz Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Mathili is hottest in April, averaging 39°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A German Spitz needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with December nights around 13°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from June to September, and August is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new German Spitz puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
