Health and vet care in Makrana

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given summers are long and intense, so heat management is the single biggest priority, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the dry summer months rather than during it. Walk early in the morning or after sunset when the ground is cool, never on hot pavement.

Grooming and coat care in Makrana

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With summers are long and intense, so heat management is the single biggest priority, a Kanni Puppy's coat and skin want checking more often through the dry summer months. On a larger coat, matting and trapped moisture are what to catch early. Walk early in the morning or after sunset when the ground is cool, never on hot pavement.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Space and the outdoors with a Kanni Puppy

Homes around Makrana usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A breed this size needs that outdoor time to be dependable, not occasional.

Living with a Kanni Puppy in Makrana

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a Kanni Puppy room to move and settle in comfortably. Owners across North India tend to find this dog a loyal, shy, alert companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Makrana is hottest in May, averaging 41°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from May to June. A Kanni needs real protection from that because a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 7°C. A Kanni has a short, thin coat, so a light sweater helps on the coldest nights.

Most of the year's rain falls in August. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Kanni puppy, the easiest months to arrive are March, September, October and November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
