Feeding a small dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a small build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In hot semi-desert conditions water matters as much as food — daytime temperatures climb high for much of the year, which shapes daily routines, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Living with a German Spitz Puppy in Setrawa

With independent houses common, there is usually room for a small-sized breed to exercise at home. Owners across North India tend to find this dog a lively, alert, affectionate companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

Space and the outdoors with a German Spitz Puppy

Homes around Setrawa usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

Health and vet care in Setrawa

Preventive care in Setrawa is largely a matter of anticipating the dry summer months. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Keep unlimited fresh water available and add a cooling mat or shaded resting spot.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the puppy approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Setrawa is hottest in May, averaging 42°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to June. A German Spitz needs real protection from that: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 8°C. A light sweater helps a small German Spitz on the coldest nights.

There is no long rainy season; what rain there is falls mostly in August.

For a new German Spitz puppy, the easiest months to arrive are March and November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
