Is the Blue Sided right for Algapur?

Algapur is lush, wet tropical — rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential — and the Blue Sided is a small-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Maintain strict tick, flea and worm control, which peak in the wet season.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most birds eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Health and vet care in Algapur

Preventive care in Algapur is largely a matter of anticipating the extended rainy season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the bird; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.
