Health and vet care in Rupahi

Preventive care in Rupahi is largely a matter of anticipating the extended rainy season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the bird; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Maintain strict tick, flea and worm control, which peak in the wet season.

Grooming and coat care in Rupahi

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With rainfall is among the highest in the country, so wet-weather care is essential, a Red Lorikeet's coat and skin want checking more often through the extended rainy season. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Living with a Red Lorikeet in Rupahi

Homes here often have more space and independent plots, which gives a Red Lorikeet room to move and settle in comfortably. Owners in the North-East tend to find this bird a family friendly, good with kids companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.
