Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Pernem

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Pernem, the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, which makes timing the variable that matters. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Dry the coat and ears thoroughly after baths or rain to prevent fungal and skin issues.

Grooming and coat care in Pernem

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the sea-influenced humidity makes ventilation and dry bedding important, a Red Collared Lorikeet's coat and skin want checking more often through the long monsoon. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Space and the outdoors with a Red Collared Lorikeet

Space is rarely the constraint here; the routine is what needs attention. For a family friendly, good with kids bird the fit is usually good either way.
