Is the Rainbow Lorikeet right for Cherthala?

Cherthala is humid coastal — moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips — and the Rainbow Lorikeet is a small-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

Feeding a small bird here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a small frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, keep water available and watch intake through the long monsoon.
