Health and vet care in Moirang

Preventive care in Moirang is largely a matter of anticipating the extended rainy season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the bird; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Space and the outdoors with a Dusky Lorikeet

Homes around Moirang usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the bird approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Grooming and coat care in Moirang

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Moirang being monsoon-heavy, the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.
