Is the Nanday Conure right for Kolasib?

Start with the weather, not the breed standard. Here the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, and a small-sized bird feels that more than an owner expects. The Nanday Conure adapts well to Kolasib on a sensible routine — steady hydration and shade rather than reduced activity. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most birds eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.
