Grooming and coat care in Tening

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Tening being monsoon-heavy, the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Feeding a small bird here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a small build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In monsoon-heavy conditions water matters as much as food — the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the bird approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Health and vet care in Tening

Local climate decides which problems actually turn up. Given the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, the recurring ones here are skin and coat trouble, parasites and hydration — not the whole textbook. Keep vaccination and deworming on schedule, and book the check before the extended rainy season rather than during it. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.
