Exercise and routine through the extended rainy season in Tening

The extended rainy season is the stretch that needs planning. The green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, so keep sessions short and frequent. Consistency does more for a Siamese Kitten than intensity ever will. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the kitten approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.

Health and vet care in Tening

Preventive care in Tening is largely a matter of anticipating the extended rainy season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the kitten; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Space and the outdoors with a Siamese Kitten

Homes around Tening usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A small-sized breed manages this well when the outdoor time is genuinely regular.

Grooming and coat care in Tening

Let the weather set the schedule, not the calendar. With the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, a Siamese Kitten's coat and skin want checking more often through the extended rainy season. On a smaller coat, irritation shows up well before matting does. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

The city sits at about 919 m above sea level, so it runs cooler than the plains around it.

Summers here are mild, peaking at about 29°C in May, so heat is rarely the problem for a Siamese that it is on the plains.

Winters are cool rather than cold, with January nights around 7°C. A light sweater helps a small Siamese on the coldest nights.

The rainy season runs from May to September, and July is usually the wettest month. Dry the coat right down to the skin after it gets wet, or it can develop skin infections.

For a new Siamese kitten, the easiest months to arrive are March, October and November: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
