Living with a Kanni Puppy in Botsa

Larger plots and open surroundings make this a comfortable setting for an active Kanni Puppy. Owners in the region's hills tend to find this dog a loyal, shy, alert companion, and the settling-in is usually easier than the first week suggests.

The first week

Expect a quiet few days. Most puppies eat less and sleep more while they settle. Keep the food the same as before the move, introduce the household gradually rather than all at once, and hold off on visitors for a bit.

Space and the outdoors with a Kanni Puppy

Homes around Botsa usually come with their own ground, which takes the pressure off a formal exercise plan. A breed this size needs that outdoor time to be dependable, not occasional.

Exercise and routine through the extended rainy season in Botsa

The extended rainy season is the stretch that needs planning. The green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, so split the activity across two cooler outings rather than one long session. Consistency does more for a Kanni Puppy than intensity ever will. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Feeding a large dog here

Diet is simpler than most guides make it. Good food suited to a large frame, fixed mealtimes, and any change phased in over a week. Because the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, keep water available and watch intake through the extended rainy season.
