Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Grooming and coat care in Puttasing

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Puttasing being coastal tropical, moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Keep bedding dry and the resting area well-ventilated, especially during the monsoon.

Health and vet care in Puttasing

Preventive care in Puttasing is largely a matter of anticipating the long monsoon. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the puppy; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

Exercise and routine through the long monsoon in Puttasing

The long monsoon is the stretch that needs planning. Moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, so split the activity across two cooler outings rather than one long session. Consistency does more for a Rottweiler Puppy than intensity ever will. Stay current on tick and flea prevention, which thrive in warm, damp conditions.

Feeding a large dog here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a large build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In coastal tropical conditions water matters as much as food — moisture in the air can encourage skin and ear issues if grooming slips, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Puttasing is hottest in April, averaging 40°C in the afternoon, and stays above 38°C from April to May. A Rottweiler needs real protection from that because a large body sheds heat slowly: walks before 8 am and after 7 pm, a cool tiled floor or a cooler in the afternoons, fresh water in more than one place, and never a parked car.

Winters are mild, with January nights around 13°C, so cold is not a concern.

The rainy season runs from June to October, and July is usually the wettest month. Check for ticks after every walk.

For a new Rottweiler puppy, the easiest months to arrive are November to February: not too hot, not too wet, and warm enough at night.
