Is the Red Lorikeet right for Barkhetri?

Barkhetri is high-rainfall tropical — the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline — and the Red Lorikeet is a small-sized, family friendly, good with kids breed. Those two facts decide most of what daily life looks like here. A breed this size copes well, provided shade and water are always within reach. Ensure good airflow indoors to keep the coat and bedding from staying damp.

The first week

The first week is about routine, not excitement. Feed at consistent times, let the bird approach people in its own time rather than being passed around, and keep the diet unchanged at first.
