Grooming and coat care in Phek

The aim is dry, clean skin — appearance comes second. Phek being high-rainfall tropical, the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, so a regular brush prevents most of what would otherwise become a vet visit. Keep a dry, raised resting area — prolonged damp leads to skin and paw problems.

Exercise and routine through the extended rainy season in Phek

Build the day around local conditions rather than a figure from a breed chart. In Phek, the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, which makes timing the variable that matters. Several brief outings suit this size better than one long one. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.

Feeding a medium bird here

Feed age-appropriate food matched to a medium build, and change brands gradually rather than overnight. In high-rainfall tropical conditions water matters as much as food — the green, rainy climate is mild but demands dry shelter and grooming discipline, and appetite often dips before anything else shows.

Health and vet care in Phek

Preventive care in Phek is largely a matter of anticipating the extended rainy season. Parasite control and skin checks earn their keep here more than they would elsewhere. The vaccination record travels with the bird; staying on schedule is the single best habit there is. Towel-dry after every walk in the rains and check between the toes for irritation.
